- The Thronbucker sounds definitely better than the same one on the Suhr. I also modified the coil split toggle into a serial/parallel switch, and the parallel just sounds great, clear and articulate. I dunno how to describe the serial humbucker sound on this guitar, but it just has that perfect PAF sound in my head, right amount of treble and low.
